Fire hazards are a problem. The high demand of primary energy is due to energy intensive drying. Stringent values for emissions like odours, dust and "blue haze" must also be met.

Other important points are the quality of the dried products as well as a high availability.

The solution: the SWISS COMBI ecoDry drum dryer, the SWISS COMBI Belt Dryer, the SWISS COMBI ecoWash flue gas scrubber.

Low emission values:
  • through integrated thermal oxidizing (SWISS COMBI ecoDry)
  • lower dust emissions through flue gas scrubbing (SWISS COMBI ecoWash)
  • through indirect low temperature drying (SWISS COMBI Belt Dryer) – the belt dryer is committed to generally low dust emissions
Reduced fire hazard:
  • through an inert drying atmosphere (SWISS COMBI ecoDry)
  • through low temperature drying (SWISS COMBI Belt Dryer)
High product quality:
  • due to gentle vapour drying (SWISS COMBI ecoDry)
  • due to indirect drying (SWISS COMBI Belt Dryer)
The SWISS COMBI ecoDry features a high drying capacity per unit up to 40t water evaporation per hour as well as great energy recovery potential due to a high dew point (i.e. waste heat evaporator).

SWISS COMBI Belt Dryer can utilize heat recovery with power/heating coupling.

Both dryers feature a high availability and allow the use of alternative fuels.

A combination the SWISS COMBI ecoDry drum dryer and the SWISS COMBI Belt Dryer is possible.
